Summer 2008
Dear Friends ,
Blessings and abundant grace be to you and your families in Jesus’ name. Things have very busy since our last communication, last January. We continue to minister in our regular churches here in the USA, but a new Spanish speaking church opened to me in Los Angeles. We had a wonderful response with 30+ people receiving the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Daniel Bielewicz is a long time friend from Argentina and I look forward to a long association with him.
The first international trip in ‘08 was Spain during the Easter season. This is an annual conference where 10 churches come together for a resurrection celebration. Four days before, my father passed away after a long illness and fight with diabetes. I was honored to perform his funeral the day before I left for Spain. Wade & Maria Weaver performed all of the pioneer work in these churches some 25 years ago. They are returning to Spain sometime in the near future. They are raising the funds to continue their apostolic ministry in Spain (eweaver2@cox.net).
The conference in Seville was a great blessing because we are now working with the 3rd generation of evangelical believers in Andalusia province. The Lord used me prophetically to minister to leaders, the youth and certain individuals. Several believers gave me photos from 20 years ago, where I was prophesying over they children. And it is a profound joy to see these young adults serving the Lord in these days.
I traveled with apostle Jeff Steen to Cartagena, a sea town on the Mediterranean side of Spain. I have ministered there three times over the past 15 years. In the main Sunday service Pastor Rafa brought forward three separate families to give testimony of the things the Lord did for them during our services in the past. Over a 30 minute span, families testified how it was impossible for the wives to have children but that the Lord used me to prophesy and pray over them. I have pictures with a 15 year old and a 9 year old whom the Lord miraculously blessed these two respective families. One truck driver with great joy testified how he suffered from hemorrhoids some 15 years ago. I prophesied to him and he was healed instantly since that date. The whole church was infused with faith in the Lord. We had a tremendous service prophesying and praying for several hours. One family came after the service and asked me to pray for their 12-year-old daughter who could hear but has been speechless from birth. We began to pray and the Lord graciously loosed her tongue. She was able to publicly and perfectly repeat the alphabet as I spoke it to her. Her family began to rejoice greatly for this had never happened before. The girl began to hug and squeeze me so tightly. My heart was full. I expect to hear praise reports in the near future. I have been asked to do a ‘school of prophecy’ for this entire Spanish province possibly this fall. Please be in pray for these arrangements and the timing of the Lord.
Jeff and I returned to Valencia for services at his church. This is an unusual church for Spain. The congregation is comprised of a mixture of Gypsies and Spaniards. Usually, the churches are not combined but separate. The praise and worship would shake you down to your spirit man. Again, we had an extensive prophetic service with the Lord addressing several dynamic issues facing the church. Please, don’t let me fail to mention that at all the churches new souls we added to the Kingdom of our Lord.
I returned home for 1-½ days to leave for services in France. It was a short time but allowed me to check on my mom. I believe she is doing as well as can be expected. I ask for your prayers for her. My first service was in a church near St. Germain – birthplace of King Louis XIV. One service was dedicated to people receiving the Holy Spirit. The Lord was faithful to open hearts and filled a group of 30+. The second service the Lord used me to prophetically address some very sensitive problems within the church. As in all churches, the pulpit is only a small portion of the ministry. Most of my time is spent with individuals doing prophetic ministry.
I returned to Montreuil, France (east side of Paris) in the church of my friend Samuel Rodrigues. This service was dedicated to healing and was a marvel to behold. The Lord’s anointing was touching people before I could pray for them. That service was three hours praying and prophesying for others. Some of the testimonies were instant. One brother was particularly paralyzed in his right hand, but during the message the Lord loosed his hand and was totally healed. Great is the Lord. During these days, I received an invitation to minister in Luxembourg, possibly the fall’08. Afterwards, I returned to the states to continue the work here.
In December, I recorded a CD of our music consisting of praise/worship and prophetic songs. This was at the encouragement of Pastor Max Ridgway, Alva, Oklahoma, who also played lead guitar on all the tracks. We hope to have the CD available in the summer ’08. Be watching for the announcement.
Currently, I am in recovering from an asthmatic attack and pneumonia. I thank the saints for their fervent prayers during this trying time. And my recovery continues daily. Also, I am scheduled for separate trips to Argentina and Paraguay (June 17 – 30 & July 29 – August 11 respectively). This will involve individual churches, leadership conference and a prophetic trip to Uruguay, as instructed by the Lord. We are expecting the Lord to pour HIS Spirit out upon the nations. I have been given a place of minister that I might influence the nations. In Paraguay, they have asked me if I would consider meeting and praying with the President’s wife. Please pray for the leading of the Lord.
